Privacy and cookies
We collect as little as we can. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Insider Bristol is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Contact: insiderbristol@gmail.com.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies or identify you; it records the page, the referring site, campaign tags such as utm_source and an approximate country.
We do not set any cookies.
Forms
Our newsletter and contact forms are delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which passes what you type to our inbox by email. We use it only to reply to you or send the newsletter.
Newsletter
If you sign up for the newsletter, we keep your email address so we can send you the weekly email. The lawful basis is your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time. Until we move to a dedicated newsletter service, sign-ups reach us by email through FormSubmit and are kept in our own mailbox.
If you email us, we keep your message for as long as we need it to reply and to keep a record of corrections.
Maps and links
Some pages include a map from OpenStreetMap, which loads from openstreetmap.org when you scroll to it. Links to Google Maps, venues and ticket sites take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to how we use it. Email insiderbristol@gmail.com. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
